Galvanizing

The types of galvanizing:

• hot-dip galvanizing (fire) – consist in submerging prepared construction in the bathtub with the molten zinc and due to it we obtain thick zinc cover of our product. Zinc cover is obtained in the hot-dip galvanizing process and is constructed with layers. It is UV effect resistant;

• electrogalvanizg – performing adjacent thin metallic covers with embedding metals. Due to the electrogalvanizing the metals are protected against the corrosion and the appearance brings better appearance.

Powder and wet coatings
 

The types of painting:

• powder painting – consist in applying (covering) powder paint on the metal cover. In painting with powder method electrostatic or electrokinetic spraying. In the next phase, the elements are heated at the furnace and as a result of it the material covered gains aesthetic quality, very good corrosion prevention properties and enhance the resistance to the mechanical damage. Additional protection of the metal against the corrosion can be applying the zinc layer.

• wet coatings – consist in applying (covering) paints with the spray technique for example polyurethane or epoxy paints on the metal cover with the possibility of previous applying of the zinc or anticorrosive cover.   It forms very hard and durable cover, chemically and mechanically resistant.

Both powder and spraying painting of wet coatings allow to finish the metal surface in any RAL colour (RAL palette; see www.barwy.net) and additional effect proposed by powder paints producers for example www.tiger-coatings.com or www.igp.ch.

Patination

It consists in applying decorative layer of the patina on previously painted surface. Many colour compositions can be obtained with the connection of base colours and patina. Usually, we use gold, silver, coppery and green patina on black, white or grey bases.

Rusting

Considering the fact that the offer mainly concerns the products used outside, in case of unprotected steel the natural process of “ageing” is the rusting. In terms of few European markets, the natural process has been noticed as impressive finishing of products (looking like old products), therefore we product the rust on our own and deliver rusty products. The colour of natural rust composes with green very well. Additionally, in case of welded/used products on artificial surfaces it is possible to protect the rust with mechanical agent preventing the product against ageing and reducing dirt penetration.
